BMW may commission the lion's share of art cars on
the scene, but it's not the only one. Just check out this latest from the
Briggs Automotive Company.
This one-of-a-kind BAC Mono has been designed
together with Autodesk, the professional design software company. More
specifically, it takes advantage of Autodesk's Computational Fluid Dynamics
(CFD) tools that simulate the conditions of a wind tunnel.
The result is a colorful livery of lines tracing the
contours of the vehicle's surface like it would in the CFD system in a rather
striking livery.
This unique take on the single-seat track car will
be displayed at the Autodesk Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Birmingham, but
not before marking its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this
weekend.
But if you can't make it to the British summertime automotive
extravaganza, you can check out this BAC Mono art car and
watch this space for further coverage of the festival and everything it has in
store.
