Ford has revealed the facelifted Tourneo Custom,
which now gets a refreshed exterior and a completely redesigned cabin.
Offering room for up to nine people, the new Ford
Tourneo Custom focuses more on its cabin features, with the company targeting
the executive shuffle business, as well as those few who want a more premium
van with seats for their personal use.
Ford takes great pride at the interior revisions,
claiming that the Tourneo Custom now features high-quality trim materials, the
latest Sync3 infotainment system along with a wide range of driver assistance
systems, improved comfort and noise levels and a segment-exclusive rear seating
with six individual seats that can be also arranged in conference format.
The new Ford Tourneo Custom is now brought
in line with the company’s passenger cars, featuring a prominent front grille
and a pair of redesigned headlights and LED daytime running lights.
Under the bonnet we can find Ford’s 2.0-liter EcoBlue
diesel engine, offered in 105 PS, 130 PS and 170 PS versions. The company claims
an up to 13 percent improved fuel efficiency, CO2 emissions from 162g/km and
low-end torque boosted by 20 percent. The options list includes a six-speed
SelectShift automatic transmission, a segment-exclusive rear air suspension and
a set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
