Honda sells
the little sedan based on Fit/Jazz in Japan as the Grace. In fact it's just launched an updated version, complete with new equipment and revised styling for the Japanese Domestic Market.
New for the refreshed Grace is a revised grille
design, flanked (on certain models) by LED headlights, and capped by new
bumpers front and rear. Inside the seats have been reskinned, and the interior
lighting replaced with LEDs. There are new smartphone connectivity features,
and the latest enhancements to the Honda Sensing suite of safety systems.
Japanese buyers can choose between two powertrain
options: a 1.5-liter inline-four mated to a CVT, or a hybrid version of the
same with a seven-speed DCT. Either can be had in front- or all-wheel drive,
and with prices ranging from 1,769,040 to 2,569,320 yen (US$ 15,600-22,600), the
automaker anticipates selling about a thousand of them each month in its home
market.
