LeEco join CES 2017 with a new smart mountain bike
with integrated Snapdragon powered Android device! LeEco are no strangers to
smart bikes, but finally they’ve gotten a little more serious and are aiming
their 2 wheeled smartbikes at more involved cyclists. Their latest bike, is the LeEco Smart Mountain Bike boasting a lightweight
Carbon Fibre frame, built in lights, and an Android powered onboard computer.
LeEco have loaded the smart mountain bike’s computer
with their own Android 4.4 based BikeOS, a simple system that gives the rider
cycling related data, turn by turn directions, plus ‘walkie talkie’ style
communication for chatting with other smart bike riders.
The brain runs on a Snapdragon 410 quad-core
chipset, with GPS/GLONASS support, with a custom version of Here Maps. A
6000 mAh battery powers all the onboard tech.
