Applying the Maybach badge to a Mercedes-Benz ups
the game by making it more luxurious than ever, but would this recipe work on
the new X-Class?.
Rendering artist Aksyonov Nikita thinks the answer
is yes, which is why he transformed the pickup truck into a more upscale model
that would make us forget all about the Volkswagen Amarok.
This X-Class has received a new grille
with three chromed horizontal bars flanked by redesigned headlights with
incorporated LED DRLs, and a new bumper with large air intakes. At the rear
end, there are new LED taillights, a new tailgate handle and a different
bumper.
That's just an exercise, of course, since Mercedes
has stated that they're not interested into an AMG version of the X-Class, and
we can't see them going for a Maybach one, either, as Mercedes-Benz Vans global
chief Volker Mornhinweg has already said he believes the pickup truck "is
quite impressive already when it comes to styling and so on".
