Another day has come and yet another change has been made to Tesla’s range of vehicles following confirmation that the rear-wheel drive Model S 75 will be scrapped before the end of the year.

Starting at US$ 69,500, the RWD Model S 75 is the cheapest vehicle currently sold by the electric automaker, but with the first Model 3 deliveries already commencing, it is thought Tesla has decided to further differentiate the US$ 35,000 entry-level vehicle from its bigger and more expensive sibling.

Ditching this model also means that both the Model S and Model X will be offered exclusively with all-wheel drive configurations for 2018 allowing the company to streamline production, The Truth About Cars reports.
