The prototype version of the Honda CRF150L has been
revealed at the 2017 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show. The bike
sports Russian motocross champion from HRC- Evgeny Bobryshev’s trademark ‘777’
livery.
Powering this motorcycle is a 149.2 cc single
cylinder unit. The engine uses fuel injection and works in tandem with a
5-speed transmission. The chassis seems to be a semi double-cradle frame, like
the one the Honda CRF150F uses. The bike features Showa long-travel inverted
forks at the front and a monoshock with linkage at the rear. For anchorage, the
bike uses disc brakes on both ends.
The underseat exhaust is from Yoshimura. An 80/100
section front and a 100/100 section rear Pirelli tyres wrap the 21-inch front
and 18-inch rear spoked wheels respectively. Despite the lack of a headlight,
the bike looks production ready. Expect the final product to be road-legal,
complete with lighting systems.
