Toyota Astra Motor has teased a special edition
Toyota Sienta for GIIAS 2017. Here’s an enhanced version of the teaser from
Autonetmagz revealing details of its front.
The Toyota Sienta limited edition model is based on
the top-spec Q grade. It features a unique grille and bumper design that looks
more aggressive than even the Toyota Sienta Modellista. The fog lamps are
removed in favour of chrome garnish. A silver ornament underlines the headlamps
and connects them with the grille and bumper. The black plastic on the outer
end of the headlamps drops to the lower bumper forming a necklace-like
arrangment on the fascia.
The Toyota Sienta limited edition should have the
same engine and transmission as the regular Sienta. The 2NR-FE 1.5-litre Dual
VVT-i petrol engine develops 107 PS at 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm of
torque. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission or a
continuously variable transmission. As the limited edition model is based on
the Q grade, it should have the latter.
The Toyota Sienta limited edition should form the
new range-topping model in Indonesia. This would mean a price somewhere between
IDR 300 - 350 million (US$ 22,200 - 25,925), as the regular
Sienta Q costs Rp. 298,200,000 (US$ 22,000).
