The Genesis G70 won’t debut until September 15 but
images have just surfaced of its exterior and interior free of any camouflage.
The images appear to have come from a commercial
shoot for the sports sedan and while not the highest quality, they do offer us
our first chance to see the car and we’re pleased to say, it appears the long
wait has been worth it.
The exterior shot shows a three-quarter angle of the
rear where we can see twin oval tailpipes, a diffuser, shark fin antenna and a
third brake light at the top of the rear window. Additionally, there’s a set of
sharp silver wheels, red brake calipers and what appears to be a huge glass
sunroof above the cabin.
Despite sharing its underpinnings with the Stinger,
the G70’s interior is also vastly different. The top of the dashboard is
dominated by a large infotainment screen while just below it is a pair of
rectangular air vents. Further down there are three rotary dials for the
climate control and on the center console you’ll find two cup holders, the
shift lever and a plethora of buttons.
In top-spec, the Genesis G70 will be powered by a
365 hp 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 with rear-wheel drive standard and all-wheel
drive an option.
