Ford Performance is bringing the new Mustang GT4 to
a European competition for the very first time in a special exhibition debut on
14-15 October at Circuit Paul Ricard. The exhibition, part of the FFSA
Championnat De France GT4 European Series Southern Cup is intended to showcase
the performance of a Mustang designed specifically for road racing circuits.
Previous accolades for the Mustang GT4 include poles
at its first two races at Daytona and Sebring, as well as wins at Sebring,
Watkins Glen and Road America. Fans might have also seen it in action in the
GTS category of the Pirelli World Challenge series.
Behind the wheel at Paul Ricard will be veteran
driver Scott Maxwell, who's excited to see the progress made by Ford Performance
with the Mustang line.
