The newest addition to HMSI’s scooter lineup will be
launched in the second week of November according to Autocar Professional.
Bookings for the Honda Grazia are currently open across all Honda 2Wheelers
dealerships for an amount of INR 2,000.
The Grazia features contemporary styling. It gets a twin headlamp
setup mounted on the front apron along with the turn indicators. The “Advanced
Urban Scooter”, as Honda calls it, will target the urban youth.
The engine is likely to be a 125cc single-cylinder
unit sourced from the Activa 125. It produces 8.52 bhp of power at 6,500 rpm
and 10.54 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. However, there is no official word yet.
The Grazia uses a telescopic fork at the front and the rear is likely to employ
a single shock absorber. The scooter will feature Honda’s Combi Brake System
(CBS) tech.
The Honda Grazia is expected to become the new
flagship scooter for the company in India. Currently, the Honda Activa 125 sits
at the top of the pile priced at INR 57,497 – 61,869 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Current estimates place the price of the Grazia at around INR 65,000
(ex-showroom).
