Mazda teased a sporty new concept for the Tokyo
Motor Show and the company wasn't kidding as here are the first pictures of the
Vision Coupe Concept that come to us from Wheelsage. Set to debut alongside the
Kai concept, the Vision Coupe is a stylish four-door model which has an
aggressive front fascia and a massive grille.
There's no word on what resides under the long
sloping hood but it could be something pretty powerful as the wheels appear to
cover a high-performance Brembo braking system. Of course, you probably didn't
need to look at the brakes to notice as the car also boasts a four-tailpipe
sports exhaust system.
Other styling details include a panoramic glass
roof, hidden door handles, and tastefully restrained metallic accents.
The upscale styling continues in the cabin as
drivers will find themselves surrounded by premium leather upholstery and
elegant wood trim. Elsewhere, there's a stylish steering wheel and an infotainment
system which appears to span nearly three quarters of the dashboard.
Details are expected to be announced shortly but the
company has previously said the concept will help to "define the next
generation of Mazda design."
