Maruti Suzuki has exported the Suzuki Ignis Comfort
and Suzuki Ignis Luxury to Indonesia, images published by Autonetmagz.com have
revealed. The standard variants of the India-made Suzuki Ignis went on sale in
the country in April this year.
The Suzuki Ignis is available in GL and GX grades in
Indonesia. The Ignis Comfort and Ignis Luxury are based on the Ignis GL. The
lack of LED projector headlamps confirms this. Both differ from the regular
Ignis GL with fog lamps, rear parking sensors, roof spoiler and respective
model name sticker on the tailgate. Inside, the Ignis and GL Comfort and Ignis
GL Luxury have a touchscreen head unit, and the latter benefits from
Eco-leather seats as well.
The Suzuki Ignis is 3,700 mm long, 1,660 mm
(GL)/1,690 mm (GX) wide and 1,595 mm tall. It has a 2,435 mm wheelbase, and it
offers a ground clearance of 180 mm. The Indonesian-spec version has the K12M 1.2-litre
engine under the hood. This four-cylinder petrol mill produces 83 PS at 6,000
rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,200. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual
and 5-speed automated manual.
The regular Suzuki Ignis GL MT and Suzuki Ignis GX MT cost IDR 139,5 million and IDR 159 million respectively. The Ignis GL Comfort and Ignis GL Luxury may cost IDR 5-7 million extra for the additional features they bring.
