The brochure scans of Suzuki’s upcoming 150cc cruiser, the Suzuki Intruder 150 has leaked online. The images give us a better idea of the bike’s specs and features.

As per the leaked brochure, the Suzuki Intruder 150 features an LED projector headlamp, and LED tail light. The fuel tank gets large aerodynamic cowls which add muscle to the bike’s design. The wide handlebars and the low seat height of 740 mm ensure a comfortable riding position. The tank comes with premium ‘Intruder’ badging as well. The motorcycle measures 2,130 mm in length, 805 mm in width, and 1,095 mm in height. With a wheelbase of 1405 mm, the Intruder 150 is 75 mm longer than the Gixxer SF. This should translate into better high-speed stability.

Powering the Suzuki Intruder 150 is a 154.9 cc single cylinder SOHC engine with air cooling. It makes 14.8 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The carburetted engine mates with a 5-speed transmission. It is the same engine that does duty in the Gixxer SF. The bike features twin exhausts which enhance the visual appeal.

Coming to the cycle parts, the motorcycle comes with telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels that are shod with 100-section tubeless tyre at the front and 140-section at the rear. For anchorage, the bike uses disc brakes on both ends, with ABS. The ABS system is likely to be a single-channel unit.

The Intruder’s fuel tank can hold 11 litres of juice, and the motorcycle tips the scales at 148 kg, kerb. Suzuki will launch the motorcycle on November 7, and the bike rivals Bajaj Avenger 150 in its segment. The Japanese brand is likely to price the bike at a premium of INR 10,000 – 12,000 over the Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS. The Gixxer SF ABS costs 95,499, ex-showroom, Delhi.
