The special Urban Edition Tata Hexa Downtown has
been launched at a starting price of INR 12.18 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The
special edition adds a handful of features to Tata Hexa across all trims and a
new exterior paint shade. It is available in limited numbers.
The heads up display mounted on the dashboard has
readouts for speed limit alerts, battery voltage, and tyre pressure monitoring
system. Chrome pack suite includes chrome applique around the headlamps, side
rub strips, and chrome ORVM casings. Two 10.1 inch Blaupunkt screens are
included in the rear seat entertainment package. The special edition Hexa is
available in a new Urban Bronze colour.
The familiar 2.2 L VARICOR diesel powers the Hexa.
The XM, XT, XMA, and XTA trims get the VARICOR 400 producing 156 PS and 400 Nm
mated to a 6-speed manula/6-speed automatic transmission. The base XE trim is
powered by the VARICOR 320 producing 150 PS and 320 Nm paired with a 5-speed
manual. 4×4 is restricted to the XT manual trim.
