The Tata Hexa has been launched in Nepal priced at
NPR 77.95 lakhs. Tata is offering the only the Hexa XT 4×4
variant in Nepal. The launch was accompanied by Guenter Butschek, CEO & MD
of Tata Motors, handing over keys to the first eleven customers.
The XT trim is the highest spec Hexa Tata offers. It
comes loaded with features like 19-inch alloy wheels, projector headlights, LED
DRLs, Harman sourced AVN with a 10-speaker JBL setup, ConnectNext apps suite,
and second-row captain seats. Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP
and Hill Hold assist.
The Tata Hexa XT variant features the 2.2 L diesel
in VARICOR400 spec, which has a max power output of 156 PS and a peak torque
output of 400 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The
Super Drive Mode selector allows the driver to choose between four modes –
Rough Road (4WD), Comfort (2WD), Dynamic (2WD) and Auto (4WD with
Torque-on-Demand).
In India, Tata offers six variants of the Hexa – XE,
XM, XMA, XT, XTA, and XT 4×4. It is priced from INR 11.91 lakhs. The XT 4×4 variant that is now available in Nepal retails in India for
INR 17.37 lakhs.
