Kawasaki Motors Enterprise (Thailand) has showcased the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Camo Edition at the 2017 Thai Motor Expo.

The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Camo Edition gets a unique black and grey camouflage paint job on the bodywork. The display motorcycle is loaded with touring-friendly accessories. For starters, it gets two hard-case panniers on the sides; a top box; and a crash bar for protection. For additional illumination, the bike features twin LED auxiliary lamps. The bike also gets handlebar guards, and a tall windscreen to protect the rider from wind blasts.

Powering the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is a 296cc parallel twin motor with liquid cooling. The engine makes 40 PS at 11,500 rpm, and 25.7 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The powerplant pairs with a 6-speed transmission. The engine features balancer shaft for optimum refinement.

Kawasaki has blessed the Versys-X 300 with a 41 mm long-travel telescopic front fork, and a Uni-Trak gas-charged monoshock at the rear for optimum off-road capability. The motorcycle comes to a halt using a single 290 mm petal disc at the front, and a 220 mm petal disc at the rear, both with ABS. The motorcycle weighs 175 kg, kerb, and the fuel tank can hold 17 litres of juice. The Camo Edition costs THB 234,000, which is THB 7,000 more than the standard colour in the Tourer variant.
