Thrustzone reports the price of the 2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street as INR 93,000, ex-showroom, Mumbai. The on-road, Mumbai price is INR 1,09,000.

This makes the 2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street INR 1,646 more expensive than the existing bike. As per the official website, the ex-showroom Mumbai price stands at INR 91,354. Going by the marginal difference in price, the price is likely for the non-ABS variant. The media site has revealed the colours as well. The Avenger 220 Street will get matte white, and matte black colours; while the Avenger 220 Cruise will come in glossy black and Moon white.

The 2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 will reportedly be launched in the country this month. According to a report in December, last year, the 2018 Avenger features a host of updates. This includes an all-digital instrument cluster, split seats, and a larger windshield. The 2018 Avenger is likely to continue using the 220 cc single cylinder mill with air and oil cooling. The engine generates 19.03 PS of power at 8,400 rpm, and 17.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Transferring the power is a 5-speed transmission.

Suspension bits include telescopic front forks, and twin rear shock absorbers. The current generation bike uses a 260 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum. Expect the 2018 Avenger to feature a single-channel ABS as an option. The only competitor for the Avenger range is the Suzuki Intruder in the current market. Expect more details about the upcoming cruiser in the days ahead.
