Wheelsandmore has completed yet another tuning
program for a Ferrari, in this case the GTC4Lusso T. This project isn’t about
just a new set of rims, but a plug-and-play box for the twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8
in two different stages. Stage 1 brings the output to 695 PS and 860 Nm of torque, while Stage 2 lifts it to 715 PS and 885 Nm.
In Stage 2 guise, the tuned GTC4Lusso T is 105 PS and 125 Nm of torque more powerful than the stock one.
Moreover, it also surpasses the naturally aspirated V12 engine’s output by 25 PS and 188 Nm. This should be enough to give the lesser version an
edge over the V12, which needs 3.4 sec to cover the 0-100 km/h sprint, 0.1
seconds faster than the standard V8.
So, how much would the chip tuning cost? That would
be at least € 2,520 (US$ 3,105) in Germany, without tax, to which another € 12,597
(US$ 15,520) will be added for the special 21- and 22-inch wheel set. The rims are
shod in 255/30/21 front and 315/25/22 rear Pirelli rubber, and the price
doesn’t include any upgrades.
The tuner offers special lowering springs for the
GTC4Lusso T, which lower the ride height by 30 mm and are compatible
with the lift-up system. Finally, the Italian supercar can be had with a
handcrafted exhaust for a deeper tone and probably a few extra horses squeezed
from the engine.
