When Porsche comes out with a new model, you can bet there’ll be more versions to come. And that goes for the Panamera as much as it does for any other model in Zuffenhausen’s lineup. One thing Porsche won’t do is a Panamera GT3 – much less a GT3 RS. If it did, this is probably pretty close to what it’d look like.

Rendered by Nikita Aksyonov, these images put the details from the new 911 GT3 RS on its four-door counterpart to make for one very hot-looking sedan. Just look at all those air vents, the ground effects, the giant rear wing.

You could bet that such a model would also be lighter and more powerful than the standard version, transforming it from a sporty sedan into a four-door track machine, good for taking your best friends around a racing circuit at a pace that’d likely be faster than just about any other sedan and scare the bejeezus out of them in the process.

For better or worse, the German automaker will probably never make such a vehicle. The GT department that’s responsible for the 911 GT3 and Cayman GT4 has said emphatically that it will never apply its skills to Porsche’s crossovers, and we doubt they’d touch the Panamera either. So as far as the purist approach goes, the next GTS will likely be as close as it gets.
