Photos of a freshened Renault Kadjar without any
camouflage are published in the base of the Ministry of Industry of China.
Since the pre-reform European and Chinese versions of the model differ
slightly, it can be assumed that the European cross will be updated in the same
way.
Actually, the outwardly cross-platform Nissan
Qashqai SUV Renault has not changed much: after restyling, Kadjar got other
bumpers, the front license plate was raised higher, behind the set other
cataphores. The model for patent photos do not have fog-lamps – it is quite
possible that their shape has also been changed. No pictures of the interior
yet. It is possible that a new multimedia system with a vertical touch screen
appeared in the salon, like those of the last Espace, Koleos and Megane.
The motor line of the
Chinese version of Kadjar has not changed: in the Celestial crossover is
offered with petrol four-cylinder turbo engine 1.2 and atmospheric 2.0 with a
yield of 117 and 150 hp respectively. The first motor works in pair with a
five-speed manual transmission, the second is combined with a variator. Kadjar
with a turbo engine is only available with a front-wheel drive, a cross with a
two-liter engine has a 4×4 version.
The premiere of the updated Kadjar is likely to take
place this year. Recall, the crossover entered the market in 2015. For Europe,
the SUV is produced in the Spanish factory Renault, in China they are selling a
model of local assembly – its release is set up at the Renault and Dongfeng
joint venture.
