The Volvo XC90 T8 is now available in India in the Inscription grade for a price of INR 96.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Until now, it was sold exclusively in the range-topping Excellence variant.

The Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription comes equipped with features like panoramic glass roof, air suspension, four-zone automatic climate control system, head-up display, heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats with backrest massage function, Nappa leather upholstery, Walnut decor inlays, 19-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio system, Adaptive Cruise Control, seven airbags and more. The Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription is powered by the 400 hp T8 Twin Engine that combines a 312 hp 2.0-litre turbocharged and supercharged petrol engine with an 88 hp electric motor. The petrol engine powers the front wheels, while the electric motor drives the rear wheels. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard. The plug-in hybrid SUV offers a pure electric range of 40 km.
