The Pedestal Edition of the ATS-V coupe and CTS-V
sedan look spectacular in a special shade of Bronze Sand Metallic, and come
accented in black chrome, a carbon-fiber appearance package, dark-finish forged
alloys, and red Brembo brake calipers.
Inside, the Recaro buckets along with other parts of
the cabin are upholstered in jet-black semi-aniline leather with Light Wheat
microsuede inserts, bronze-colored stitching, and more carbon-fiber trim. The
Pedestal Editions also come equipped with the Performance Data Recorder and
Rear Camera Mirror system (on the CTS-V).
The 2019 Cadillac ATS-V Coupe Pedestal Edition
starts at US$ 77,090, with the CTS-V version commanding a princely US$ 102,590 (plus
destination). Only 300 examples in total will be offered for sale in the US,
Canada, and Middle East. So if you want to get your hands on one, you’d better
act fast. Order books open at the beginning of the new month ahead.
Both models are slated to be discontinued in the
near future, but that won’t spell the end of the V-Series. Cadillac’s in the
process of rolling out the new CT6-V, which was previously announced as the CT6
V-Sport, and packs a twin-turbo V8 with 550 horsepower. That’s more than the
ATS-V’s 464 hp but less than the CTS-V’s 640, and bodes well for the future of
Cadillac’s performance line.
