Almost three years ago, Lamborghini presented the
Huracan Avio in Geneva, a limited edition that pays tribute to the Italian Air
Force. One could think that a special edition of an already exotic car like the
Huracan Avio should suffice for even the most restless of buyers, but you’d be
wrong.
Fast forward to present day, and one of the 250
examples made by the Raging Bull has underwent a few changes of its own. Only
these upgrades don’t lift the output of the already impressive 5.2-liter V10,
but take on the visual side of the problem.
The aerodynamic package you see here is from Luethen
Motorsport, a German tuner based in Hamburg. It adds a two-piece front
splitter, canard spoilers, which can be either one or two on each side, side
splitters and rear wing. These carbon fiber-made parts are joined by Roc
Schmiederader FL.10 forged rims, 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear.
Now, the stock Lamborghini Huracan Avio already has
a suite of improvements over the regular version of the supercar. In addition to the limited build number, all
of them get a special exterior finish, ‘L63’ lettering on the doors, with ‘L’
standing for the name of the company and ‘63’ being the year it was founded,
and other features.
The Lamborghini Huracan Avio is
powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine. Here, it makes 610 PS and 560 Nm of torque, which rockets it to 100
km/h in 3.2 seconds, and up to a top speed of 325 km/h.
