Land Rover wanted to celebrate the 30th anniversary
of the Discovery SUV, so it has just introduced the special Landmark Edition. The Discovery Landmark Edition is
built around the SE trim level, but comes standard with the Dynamic Exterior
Pack which adds a new bumper, Narvik Black mesh grille, and bespoke fender
vents. Land Rover has also fitted front and rear panoramic roofs, front fog
lights and signature Hi-Line taillights. There’s also privacy glass, 20-inch Gloss
Black wheels, and unique Landmark badging.
Buyers will be able to option the SUV’s interior in
either Ebony or Acorn grained leather. The cabin also features a Satin Brushed
center console, a 380W Meridian Sound System and some aluminum trim. Land Rover
will sell the Discovery Landmark Edition with both its SD4 and SD6 diesel
engines that make 240 hp and 306 hp respectively.
All Discovery Landmark Edition models come equipped
with a multitude of impressive features designed to make them perfect for any
kind of off-roading adventure, such as All Terrain Progress Control, for
example, which allows drivers to set and maintain a steady speed in challenging
conditions. This system works alongside Terrain Response 2, that offers a
number of different driving modes. The Landmark Edition also has a wading depth
of 900 mm and a 3,500 kg towing capacity.
The Land Rover Discovery Landmark Edition can be
leased for £ 499 (US$ 651) a month over 37 months with a £ 12,792 (US$ 16,702) deposit.
