German tuning
company delta4x4 has unveiled an modified Mercedes-Benz X-Class which makes the
pickup much more capable off-road than the standard vehicle.
The most important
upgrades made to the X-Class is the fitment of a new suspension that
dramatically boosts the ride height to ensure the car doesn’t scrap the ground
when climbing across rocks or while tackling difficult inclines and declines.
We don’t have specifics regarding the components, but images of the X-Class jumping
up in the air like a Raptor-badged Ford model indicates the shocks and springs
can deal with a fair amount of abuse.
To complement the
new ride height, delta4x4 has installed a new set of off-road wheels and tires
with sizes ranging from 17-inches all the way up to 23-inches. Flared fenders,
a large LED light bar on the roof, a bull bar and skid plate upfront as well as
bed bars at the rear have also been fitted.
