The updated Mitsubishi Triton Adventure X surfaced on Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia’s rendition of the #TetrisChallenge, featuring a host of updates including the Flying Sports Bar that was added to the top Adventure X kit list in August at no additional cost. Here, we’ve managed to get the full complement of pictures of the revised Triton Adventure X, inside and out.

The range-topper gains the aforementioned Flying Sports Bar, exterior sticker set, digital video recorder, all-round monitor (ARM) and a new audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Lighting is taken care of by bi-LED projector headlamps and LED daytime running lights, while additional features include leatherette seat upholstery, powered driver’s seat adjustment, paddle shifters and automatic wipers.


On the safety front, the Triton Adventure X receives Forward Collision Mitigation (autonomous emergency braking for vehicles and pedestrians), Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (front and rear), Auto High Beam, Front passenger seatbelt reminder, front and rear parking sensors, ABS, EBD, BA, stability control, traction control and seven airbags.

To recap, the updated Triton Adventure X continues to be powered by a 2.4 litre MIVEC VGT turbodiesel sending 181 PS and 430 Nm of torque through a six-speed automatic and the Super Select 4WD-II system. Rolling stock is comprised of 18-inch wheels fitted with 265/60R18 tyres, while he Super Select 4WD II system comes with an Off-Road Mode with four presets – gravel, mud, sand and rock.


The updated Mitsubishi Triton Adventure X has been priced at RM 137,900 for Peninsular Malaysia, and it is available in two colours – Jet Black Mica and White Diamond. K
