Several pictures of the facelifted Buick Regal have
surfaced in China. Noticed by Autoweek.nl, the images reveal the sedan has been given a
light refreshing that mostly focuses on the front and rear fascias.
Starting up front, the Regal has been equipped with
a revised grille that features a mesh insert and a thinner chrome bar. It is
flanked by restyled headlights which have a small protrusion at the outside
edges.
Further below, we can see a new bumper with a
sportier design. It features a larger central air intake as well as new side
intakes that incorporate LED lighting units. The styling changes are less
noticeable out back, but there’s a lightly modified bumper and a new dual
exhaust system with rectangular tips. The taillights have also been updated,
but just barely.
There’s no word on performance specs, but the
current Regal is offered with two different engines in China. The entry-level
option is a turbocharged 1.5-liter that produces 168 hp and 252 Nm of torque. Customers can also opt for a turbocharged
2.0-liter four-cylinder which develops 257 hp and 350 Nm of torque.
