The original Renault Talisman estate/wagon came out
in 2015 (see video for details), so the time was high for a mid-generational
update. As evidenced by these spy photos, the manufacturer felt so.
That said, it looks like the car retains its usual
design, with the new headlights and radiator grille being the only exterior
points of interest. The exhaust pipe also looks new, which prompts a suggestion
that the facelifted series might be getting a new turbocharged engine. Then again,
maybe all the company will do is revise its engine lineup to conform to the
increasingly stricter emission standards.
The Renault Talisman is quite a popular model in
Europe, ranking seventh in D-segment car sales.
