Venucia, a Chinese car marque owned by the
Nissan-Dongfeng joint enterprise, has rolled out the 2020 update of its T90
coupe SUV. The car, which utilizes the first-gen Nissan Qashqai+2 chassis, has
received exterior, cabin and tech improvements.
Despite the technical similarities between the
Venucia T90 with its Qashqai donor, the two look nothing like each other on the
outside. Compared to the pre-facelift version (in the video), the newcomer
takes advantage of LED lighting, reshaped bumpers and a revised interior. The
latter now houses a digital dashboard, a multimedia system with extended
functionality, and a sensor-based climate control unit.
The engine range has also been revised. The
1.4-liter turbo engine has retired, yielding its position to an enhanced
2.0-liter, naturally aspirated V4 with 150 hp and 205 Nm of torque. The only available transmission type is CVT.
The coupe-shaped SUV boasts 190 millimeters of clearance and should become available in China before the end of
September.
