After selling the Tigor EV to government and fleet customers for a long time, Tata Motors has finally launched it for private customers. Also, the company has extended the range of the electric sedan. Tigor EV Electric Sedan for both fleet and personal segment customers in India. It has been priced at INR 9.44 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi (price includes Govt. subsidies). The new Tigor EV (extended range) is claimed to deliver a full range of 213 kms (ARAI certified).

The Tata Tigor EV is priced from INR 9.44 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This price includes government subsidies under the FAME II scheme. Tata Motors is selling this EV in 30 cities. Coming to the range, it has been extended from 142 km to 213 km, by switching from a 16.2 kWh battery pack to a 21.5 kWh battery pack. While the old model's drive modes are Eco and Sport, the new model's drive modes are Drive and Sport.

The old Tata Tigor EV was available in XM and XT grades. The new Tata Tigor EV is sold in XE+, XM+ and XT+ grades. Unlike the old model, the new model doesn't get dual-front airbags as standard. The XE+ grade comes with only a driver airbag and only the XM+ and XT+ grades include even a co-driver airbag.

The new Tata Tigor EV (extended range) is offered with a standard warranty of 3 years or 1,25,000 km, whichever is earlier.
