Audi has announced the 2020 RS4 Avant
Bronze Edition, limited to only 25 examples for the United Kingdom. It’s a
stunning piece of kit with its exclusive Vesuvius Grey paint, black detailing
and 20-inch bronze milled wheels. A number of key details help to complete the
stealthy look of this limited-run model. At the front, they include the high
gloss black finish for the Singleframe and front air intake surrounds, as well
as a matte carbon lip spoiler.
Besides the stunning wheels, the side view
reveals black roof rails and window surrounds, as well as matte carbon mirror
housings. At the back, the RS sport exhaust system replaces the brightwork of
the two oval tailpipe trims with black equivalents. Obviously, the upgraded
exhaust also amplifies the soundtrack of the 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6
petrol engine.
The exclusive treatment continues inside
with bronze contrast stitching for the black Fine Nappa leather super sport
seats, as well as the same leather featured on the sides of the centre console,
the armrests, steering wheel and gear lever gaiter. The RS4 Avant Bronze
Edition also features matte carbon twill inlays complementing the
contrast-stitched leather.
Available to order now at £ 82,395
(US$ 107,200) OTR, the RS4 Avant Bronze Edition is more than just a
good-looking, extremely fast estate car. It also boasts “exceptional standard
specification,” including the Comfort and Sound Pack, Advanced Key system,
360-degree camera, extended LED interior lighting, and a 19-speaker, 755-watt
Bang & Olufsen audio system.
All these features come in addition to the
stock RS4 Avant’s rich standard equipment which includes everything from Matrix
LED headlights and 10.1-inch MMI Navigation Plus to massaging front seats, the
Audi Virtual Cockpit with RS-specific screens and Audi Phonebox wireless
handset charging.
The Audi RS4 Avant Bronze Edition sticks
with the same powertrain that delivers 450 PS and 600 Nm of torque. The 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 is hooked to an eight-speed tiptronic
automatic transmission and a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system with a
40/60 torque split (front/rear) in regular driving. That’s enough for a sprint
from zero to 62mph (100 km/h) in just 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
