BYD has revealed exterior pics of a hybrid sedan called the Qin Plus at the Guangzhou-2020 expo. The car should reach customers in the first half of next year.

The new DM-i Super Hybrid powertrain incorporates a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine along with a single electric motor. Its thermal efficiency ratio is claimed to be at the industry-leading 43 percent. Fuel consumption does not exceed 3.8 liters per 100 kilometers (UK: 74 MPG; USA: 62 MPG). The car sprints 0-100 km/h in under four seconds and has over 1,000 kilometers of combined range.

Based on the leaked interior pics, the model sports a small digital dash cluster on the steering column. The central display appears to be sized 12.8”, and the console looks like that of the BYD Han.
