The popular German tuner showed us a virtual Dacia Duster concept a month ago, complete with slammed suspension and other such mods. In stark contrast, the new Prior Design Dacia Duster 4×4 Offroad Widebody feels more at home away from well-paved roads.

Like its predecessor, the car only exists on 3D renderings right now, but we wouldn’t mind seeing it implemented as a real upgrade kit. Black alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain rubber are the first to catch the eye, followed by flared fenders and a domed hood. The suspension lift is not that big at just 20 mm, but the key innovation here are shock absorbers with longer travel. The front bumper gets DRLs and a bull bar, and the rear clip benefits from underbody protection and a snorkel pipe. A roof rack rounds things off with a spare wheel, a fuel can, and a branded toolbox.

Later on, Prior Design considers overhauling the drivetrain and the interior of the Duster, but it remains to be seen whether the automaker will sanction these modifications. The parts shown here should go on sale next year.
