Taking inspiration from the iconic Ferrari Testarossa, whose name means Red Head, this so-called CascoRosso literally translates to Red Helmet. However, unlike the Testarossa, this is just an unofficial rendering and not a real car.
The CascoRosso was designed by Dejan
Hristov, who clearly thought that a future Ferrari supercar could do with a bit
more ruggedness in its design. Still, while this looks like it belongs in a Hot
Wheels set, it’s certainly well-designed and visually menacing.
Judging by the styling, we’re inclined to
say this is a front-engined exotic, but it can also be all things to all
people, depending on how far you want to let your imagination fly. It also has
many interesting aerodynamic elements, like the fender winglets, vents, subtle
roof scoop and split active rear wing. Lastly, we noticed the doors, which have
no visible handles and would probably open in a “gullwing” fashion, like on a
Pagani Huayra, if they were real.
The overall aesthetic of the rear end is
very aggressive, yet the styling is easily recognizable as “typical Ferrari”.
The front end however is more generic, to the point where you could put some
other badge on there and have this pass as some type of Corvette Concept for
example.
