The obscenely opulent Lamborghini Urus attracts truckloads of hate from people who will never be able to afford it, and Mansory’s take on it is even more odious – in other words, a unique work of art and a must-see.

The custom car is called the P820 Venatus and is coming in only five units priced around € 500,000. Included is a snazzy, over-the-top carbon fiber body kit that makes the SUV look like a chitinous alien creature on wheels. Everything from the front splitter to the rear diffuser screams ‘Look at me!’, and we have no doubt that even people who are indifferent towards tuning will crook their necks to look at this one pass by. Note also the rear wing that looks like something you’d use on a racetrack sooner than a trip to a supermarket.

Interestingly enough, the interior is not nearly as gaudy and actually even looks elegant with its tidy black-and-white trim adorned with assorted diamond shapes. The finest leather and carbon extend as far as the eye can see.

There is no accusing the Venatus of being all bark and no bite, though. Even the standard Urus is no slouch with its twin-turbo V8 hitting the wheels with 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque. Mansory takes things further by boosting it to 820 PS and 1,050 Nm of torque. No official mention is made of acceleration times, but fans are reporting that a build like this can be expected to conclude the standard sprint in 3.2 seconds and go as fast as 320 km/h. For a vehicle weighing in at 2.5 metric tons, these are truly impressive chops.
