Lucid has announced pricing details for the full range of the Air in Canada which is now available to reserve with a CA$ 400 (US$ 322) deposit. Sitting at the base of the Lucid Air lineup in Canada is the Pure model. It will be priced from CA$ 105,000 (US$ 84,712) and pumps out 480 hp, while Lucid expects it to offer up a range of 653 km. Those with more money to spend will be able to opt for the Lucid Air Touring which starts at CA$ 129,000 (US$ 104,075) and has the same projected range figure as the Pure but its output is upgraded to 620 hp.
Prices then rise significantly to
CA$ 189,000 (US$ 152,483) for the Air Grand Touring with 800 hp and an 830 km projected range. Like in the U.S., Canada’s two flagship models are
the Air Dream Edition Performance and Air Dream Edition Range. Both start at
CA$ 229,000 (US$ 184,754) and the Performance variant, complete with 1,111 hp,
can travel 758 km on a charge. Meanwhile, the Air Dream Edition
Range delivers 933 hp and has a projected range of 836 km.
In addition to announcing Canadian
pricing, Lucid just opened the doors to a new retail location in Vancouver,
British Columbia. This serves as the first studio outside of the
U.S. and will be joined by another in the Toronto area in 2022, with more
Canadian locations will follow.
Lucid will start U.S. deliveries of the
Air later this month, but it hasn’t announced yet when Canadian deliveries will
commence.
