Nissan has revealed the pricing for the 2022 Sentra and the compact sedan starts right where it did last year at US$ 19,510 (plus a US$ 975 destination fee that brings the price up to US$ 20,485). The Japanese automaker is also adding a blacked-out “Midnight Package” to the lineup.
The Sentra S is the base model and comes
with 16-inch steel wheels, remote keyless entry, push-button start, Apple
CarPlay, and Android Auto. Nissan has also made its Safety Shield 360, which
adds Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and rear automatic braking, standard
across all trim levels.
Taking a step up, the Sentra SV starts at US$ 20,570 (US$ 21,545 w/ destination) and it also gets 16-inch wheels, though these
are made of aluminum alloy and come with 205/60R16 all-season tires. Tech-wise,
the SV trim comes with NissanConnect infotainment, which is accessed through an
8-inch touchscreen. It also gets adaptive cruise control, an upgraded cloth
interior, and a six-speaker sound system.
Finally, the sporty Sentra SR is the only
one whose MSRP increases slightly for 2022, with prices starting at US$ 22,100
(US$ 23,075 w/ destination), or US$ 250 more than the 2021 Sentra SR. It comes with
18-inch aluminum wheels with 215/45R18 all-season tires. It also gets a dark
chrome V-motion grille, LED headlights with LED DRLs, sport cloth seats with
orange stitching, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and more.
Finally, there’s the Midnight Edition,
which builds on the SR package and includes features such a black-painted
V-motion grille, a black rear spoiler and diffuser, as well as black exterior
badging and black 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
Now in the third year since its 2020
redesign, the 2022 Sentra also adds an all-weather package for the mid-range SV
grade. Power across the range comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that
makes 149 hp. The 2022 Sentra is now available at Nissan
dealers.
