The teaser campaign for the facelifted Skoda Karoq is entering the homestretch as the company has released a new teaser video of the updated crossover. Set to debut on November 30th, the facelifted Karoq promises to have a more distinctive appearance thanks to a wider grille that is flanked by “slimmed-down headlights.” That treatment will be echoed out back as the taillights sport a more modern and minimalist aesthetic.
Putting the lighting units aside, the
teaser video shows a lightly revised rear bumper and aerodynamic wheels. The
company also promised a “technology upgrade” and if the facelifted SEAT Ateca
is any indication, the model could be outfitted with a 10.25-inch digital
instrument cluster as well as updated infotainment systems with 8.25- and
9.2-inch displays. We can also expect new and upgraded driver assistance
systems.
Engine options remain unconfirmed, but the
model is currently offered with a couple of turbocharged petrol engines
including a 1.0-liter three-cylinder with 109 hp and a
1.5-liter four-cylinder with 148 hp. The crossover can also
be outfitted with a 2.0-liter TDI engine that has outputs of 114 hp and 148 hp.
