Once the order is made and the vehicle built, it will be delivered to an EV-Certified Nissan dealer of the customer’s choosing and the purchase process can be completed either online or in person.
The first 10,000 reservations made before
January 31, 2022, will also qualify for a free two-year EVgo membership and US$ 500 in charging credits upon purchase, worth up to an estimated 8,047 km of EV driving.
The Ariya has an 87 kWh battery that, in
the base model, sends power to an electric motor that makes 238 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Nissan anticipates that it will be
capable of going up to 483 km on a charge. The Evolve+ FWD and the
Premiere FWD are powered by the same drivetrain and should be good for 459 km of range, but the latter is only available to customers who
participate in the reservation program. It gets 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels
with unique aero wheel cover treatments, illuminated Premiere kick plates, and
a Premiere grade emblem. It starts at US$ 53,450 (US$ 54,625 w/ destination).
For those who want a little more power and
a few more driven wheels, the Ariya Platinum+ e4ORCE AWD is the only option for
now. It also gets the 87 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup that makes 389
hp and 599 Nm of torque. Nissan estimates that it
will be able to manage 426 km per charge and prices start at US$ 58,950 (US$ 60,125 w/ destination).
