Cadillac has created a very special XT4 show car that it will present in China at the forthcoming 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show. Images of the vehicle recently surfaced on auto.163. It is apparently dubbed the XT4 Snow Country Train Edition and has been extensively modified. While it is highly unlikely it will spawn a production model, it is cool nonetheless.

The first thing that stands out about the show car is the bold camouflage-inspired wrap finished in white, grey, red, and orange. The XT4 is also rocking a heavily revised front fascia with a unique front splitter and LED lights very similar in shape to those featured on RTR Ford Mustang models. A set of four rally-inspired driving lights have also been fitted to the hood.

Elsewhere, this special XT4 has been equipped with a widebody kit that makes it looks remarkably aggressive. A set of black wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires can also be found at the rear and while the front end still rocks the standard rims, they were probably just fitted while the car was being transported and should be swapped out for the same wheel and tire package as the rear. Rounding out the modifications is a roof rack and a Thule roof box.

As pointed out, the “28T” badge on the rear indicates that the XT4 is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 233 hp. It remains unclear if Cadillac has made any mechanical mods to its SUV but, in any case, we expect to learn more about the car when the Guangzhou Auto Show kicks off this weekend.
