Niche automaker Arash is venturing into the world of electric hypercars and has previewed an upcoming model dubbed the AFX. Very few details about the vehicle are known at this stage, other than the fact that it will be all-electric. As such, it will likely rival cars such as the Lotus Evija, Rimac Nevera, and Pininfarina Battista, unless the British automaker decides to push the performance envelop even further.
Images released of the car depict a
vehicle with traditional hypercar proportions. Found up front of the Arash AFK
are a set of angular headlights and a very compact hood with a large air vent
to aid in aerodynamics. Elsewhere, these renderings depict the AFK with
pronounced front wheel arches and doors with a similar design and shape to
those of the Porsche 918 Spyder. Other key design elements that stand out
include the lack of traditional wing mirrors, a prominent shark fin that
stretches across the roof and decklid, and a full-width LED light bar at the
rear.
Arash has also released a sketch of the
car’s interior. It appears to feature seats that are molded directly into the
monocoque and also has a hollow dashboard, somewhat reminding us of the
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. We can also see two small screens that will replace
the wing mirrors, and a small instrument cluster mounted to the steering
column.
The last production vehicle that Arash
released was the AF10. It features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with four
electric motors and delivers a claimed 2,080 hp. We wouldn’t be surprised if
the all-electric AFX is just as powerful.
