Audi continues developing the Q6 E-Tron and is currently testing its powertrain performance in the snowy expanses of Sweden. Have a look at the spy shots, but mind the fake headlights.
The Q6 E-Tron, which is shown here with an
extra LED bar for better visibility, will be one of Audi’s first models to be
based on the PPE platform co-developed with Porsche. As such, it will share
many components with the next-generation Macan SUV while also taking advantage
of rear-wheel steering and air-ride suspension. Charging terminals up to 350 kW
will be supported.
Despite the brand new platform, the SUV
will retain its signature looks inspired by the bigger e-tron and smaller Q4
e-tron cousins. It will come closest in size to the Q5, but will offer much
more interior space.
