The very first Mini Remastered Oselli Edition by David Brown Automotive has been completed and will be delivered to its owner in Scandinavia. The model, a four-seater, is finished in bespoke Carbon Grey with Heritage Green accents throughout, and has a special number-delete on the grille, rear, and interior, as well as 13-inch alloy wheels finished in Graphite.
Indeed, DBA plans to build more Mini
Remastered Oselli Editions in the coming months, with vehicles being delivered
to North America, Asia, and across Europe as the brand’s global growth
accelerates.
Each Oselli Edition is made to the unique
requirements of its owner and takes more than 1,400 hours of dedicated work to
complete. Each is built at David Brown Automotive’s Silverston, U.K. factory
with a drivetrain developed in partnership with Oselli Engineering which was
founded in 1962 by two Rover (BMC) engineers under the name of Oxford Engine
Services (OES).
Power comes from an upgraded version of
the A-Series 1,420cc engine with twin carbs. It produces 125 hp and 153 Nm of torque which is enough to get the car to 100
km/h in 7.8 seconds. The DBA Mini Remastered Oselli Edition is available in
both right- and left-hand-drive and is offered with a rear-seat delete option
to make it even lighter and more focused. Prices start at £ 98,000 (US$ 129,488).
