When Mercedes unveiled the all-electric EQE sedan at the IAA Munich several months ago, no one expected it to go overseas so soon. But it did, as these spy photos taken near Los Angeles clearly indicate. The test vehicle had no camo on, unsurprisingly, since it had already debuted. The exterior had much in common with that of the EQS, but the EQE looked shorter with a smaller wheelbase.
Power for the sedan comes from a 292-PS electric drivetrain plugged into a 90-kWh traction battery
pack. The manufacturer claims it offers up to 660 km of driving
range, but the number could be revised for the USA.
