Mercedes placed its bets right when it launched the ultra-successful GLC line of crossovers. They remain among the best-selling Mercedes vehicles to this day, but a new generation that is already in development is welcome all the same. The various spy photos made so far reveal multiple modifications, including the range-topping AMG GLC 63, but the latest selection focuses on a hybrid version.

The current-gen GLC 300e uses a 2.0liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor for a total of 318 PS and 700 Nm of torque. The new generation is expected to improve power and efficiency compared to the old one.

It also looks like the new GLC is larger than the previous generation, which implies a spacious interior and a larger trunk. Much should be updates inside as well, but we do not have any specifics right now.
