Toyota has published a teaser for the new generation Noah and Voxy minivans that will debut in January 2022. For those who are not familiar with Toyota’s minivan range in Asia, the Noah and Voxy are two sibling models sitting below the larger Alphard / Vellfire and the flagship Granace. This will be the fourth generation of the duo, with the first introduced in 2001, the second in 2007, and the third in 2014.
The Voxy was always more aggressive-looking
than the Noah, even though the gap seems to be closing down. The last
generation brought a third and more luxurious sibling called the Esquire,
although this one will be discontinued this month. Interestingly, both the Noah
and the Voxy are also offered in GR Sport guise with large-diameter wheels and
bodykits.
The official teaser doesn’t reveal much
other than the LED headlights and a part of the front bumper. The Noah (left)
seems to have evolved the most, with a Lexus-style grille and big side intakes,
while the Voxy (right) keeps the dual headlight setup adding chrome accents. In
terms of dimensions, the medium-sized minivans are expected to be around 4,700
mm long. They will also likely keep the signature low floor
allowing for easy access in the three-row cabin.
We expect to learn more about the minivans
including powertrains and specifications next month, when the two models will
be officially unveiled.
