In 2022, the world awaits the reveal of Pagani’s next hypercar, which will continue the legacy of the Zonda and the Huayra. An image that was uploaded on Instagram and was later deleted could show the new Pagani, codenamed C10, in the flesh.
The hypercar looks instantly recognizable
as a Pagani thanks to the signature dual headlights mounted on the fenders, the
waterdrop-shaped greenhouse, and the long and wide tail. The surfacing looks
like a fine balance between the more angular Zonda and the curvy Huayra. At the
front, there is a single wide intake split by the Pagani “nose”, while at the
back we can see two – likely active – rear wings.
While we can’t be sure about the
authenticity of the leak, a second picture posted from the same account that
presents a Pagani-branded document titled “Application for reservation of a
production slot of a Pagani C10” kind of backs it up. The reservation fee is
€ 300,000 (US$ 338,690), which sounds about right for a multi-million limited
production hypercar from Pagani.
In October 2021, Horacio Pagani talked
about the upcoming model confirming that it will be fitted with a
non-electrified 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 sourced from AMG. He also revealed
that, unlike the Huayra, it will be available with both a manual and an
automatic option since Pagani customers want to have this choice.
We expect to learn more about the Pagani
C10 sometime in the coming months as the car, which will have a production run
of 280 to 300 examples, is slated to be unveiled this year.
