Theon Design produces some of the most desirable Porsche 964 restomods on earth and has just released a teaser image of its latest project. This particular 964 is currently codenamed BEL001 and is unlike any other car commissioned by the British company as its air-cooled flat-six engine hasn’t just been bored out to 3.6-liters but it has also been equipped with a Rotex supercharger, allowing it to churn out 450 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
A number of other mechanical modifications
will distinguish the car from a standard 964. For example, it has been fitted
with a set of adaptive dampers co-developed with TracTive and complete with
selectable modes. Evo notes that the suspension setup has been developed and
calibrated on the roads near Theon Design’s facility in Oxfordshire.
Like all other 964 restomods from Theon
Design, the car has been stripped back to its bare shell and then completely
rebuilt. It is finished in a shade dubbed Aquamarine and can be seen sporting
yellow decals, yellow brake calipers, and gold five-spoke wheels.
The restomod specialist has yet to
announce when it will lift the veil on its latest project but it’s inevitable
that the car’s owner also ordered it with an extensively modified interior,
adorned with loads of new materials and features that make it feel a bit more
modern and better suited to the rigors of daily driving.
