MINI announced three different special editions for its model range featuring custom exterior / interior touches and additional equipment. The Resolute Edition for the Hatch and Convertible, the Untold Edition for the Clubman, and the Exclusive Edition for the Countryman will be launched all at the same time in March 2022.
Starting with the smaller of the bunch,
the MINI Hatch in three-door and five-door flavors alongside the MINI
Convertible will be offered in the Resolute Edition, for the Cooper, Cooper S,
and Cooper SE powertrain variants.
Exterior touches include the Rebel Green
paint that was previously reserved for the JCW, combined with a Pepper White
roof and mirror caps (black soft roof and mirror caps for the Convertible), and
Resolute Bronze accents for the Cooper S and SE Buyers will have a choice
between the 18-inch Pulse Spoke Black and the 17-inch Tentacle Spoke Black
alloy wheels, with the electric Cooper SE getting its own 17-inch Electric
Collection Spoke design. Inside all models get Black Pearl / Light Chequered
fabric/leatherette sports seats, Nappa leather sports steering wheel,
anthracite roofliner, and Ambient Light. There is also the optional MINI Yours
Leather Lounge package in Carbon Black with a perforated Union Jack motif on
the headrests.
Moving on to the more practical MINI
Clubman, the Untold Edition is available for the Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper D,
Cooper SD, and JCW powertrain variants. It is visually distinguished by the
Sage Green exterior color combined with a dark green shade for the plastic
cladding, Refined Brass accents all around the bodywork, and sportier design
elements on the front and rear bumpers. The highlight though is the
model-specific set of 18-inch Untold Spoke alloy wheels finished in Jet Black
and Refined Brash. Optionally the roof and mirror caps can be painted in Black,
together with a Piano Black finish for the handles, tailpipes, MINI logos, and
lettering.
Inside, the standard MINI Yours Leather
Lounge Sage Green brings a color combination that closely matches the exterior,
with Sage Green upholstery and Refined Brass accents. Standard equipment
includes sport seats, Nappa leather sports steering wheel, Adaptive LED
headlights, plus the Excitement and Interior Light packages.
Last but not least, the MINI Countryman
SUV couldn’t be missing from the party. More specifically, all Cooper, Cooper
D, Cooper S, Cooper SD, and Cooper SE ALL4 variants of the Countryman are
available in the MINI Untamed Edition. The exterior is painted in Momentum Grey
metallic including the ALL4 trim, while Frozen Bluestone is used for the
profile graphics and the emblems. The roof, mirror caps, roof rails, and light
housings are painted in black with extra dark-themed features in the optional
Piano Black exterior option. Finally, the adventurous 18-inch Untamed alloy
wheels feature burnished surfaces.
Inside we find custom door sills with the
Untamed logo that is also present on the seats, steering wheel, and floor mats.
Highland Green was chosen for the upholstery in combination with blue and green
stitching on the sports seats, plus Frozen Blue metallic, Arctic Silver
metallic, and High Gloss Black for the accents. The Untamed Edition also comes
standard with the Light and Excitement packages. For MINI buyers that want even
more features, all Edition models can get the optional Comfort, Driver
Assistance, and Connected packages, or individual options like the Steptronic
sport automatic transmission, adaptive chassis, Harman Kardon HiFi speakers,
and the panoramic glass roof.
In terms of UK pricing, the Resolute
Edition starts from £ 22,040 for the three-door MINI Cooper Hatch,
from £ 22,690 for the five-door, from £ 25,300 for the
Convertible, and from £ 34,470 for the SE. The Clubman Untold Edition
